WELCOME TO SAGE & GRACE

 

Hi!,

My name is Alyssa, but you can call me Al. I have been baking gluten-free food for as long as I can remember because I was tired of being left out on birthdays and holidays. I love bringing flowers and food together to create ethereal, delicious cakes, and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to do this for a living.

When I'm not in the kitchen, I teach reformer pilates, I'm an avid gardener, and I foster kittens.

My love of creating recipes comes from my nana Fay, who taught me everything I know from the age of 7. She let me experiment with food and then gave me well-thought-out feedback, usually limited to "yum."

I love nurturing so naturally food, and flowers are my favorite ways to do that.

Through Sage & Grace, I spread love through cakes and grazes, far and wide, on some of people’s most special days.

To me, food is love, and I am delighted that I get to spread it every day.

To be frank, we don't like packaged foods. We are eco- and socially conscious, with thoughtful ingredient sourcing (organic and local as much as possible) and packaging.

Our Creations

At Sage & Grace, we create wholesome and nourishing baked treats. Every single bite is dietary inclusive. Our goods are organic, gluten free, refined sugar free and bursting with seasonal flavours. This keeps our cakes wholesome, deliciously textured, and focused on flavour rather than sweetness.

We believe everyone, with any dietary requirement, should be loved without feeling like a nuisance. Food is about joy and community and at Sage & Grace we’re passionate about bringing people together through delicious cakes (and grazes) that create both.

We focus on creating beautiful celebration cakes for your special birthdays or events, assembling cake kits so you can make your own Sage & Grace cake at home no matter where you are, and making your gorgeous wedding cakes, using an unorthodox, approach with unique flavourings and semi-rustic style. This is a no fondant zone.

Everything we make is Gluten Free (that tastes amazing - even more amazing than regular flour). Everything we make is always made from scratch - including our organic GF flour blend. We believe gluten free food done well has a greater depth of flavour and is kinder on all tummies.
